I could not ask off from my work again so soon, so my husband took our children to Dr. Lehman's. There, the office staff lied to my husband and said they had already talked to me about giving our 11 year old daughter the Gardasil vaccine. So they gave her the vaccine by lying!!!! I did not want this vaccine administered to our daughter until she is 14 or so because I have had it and know the vaccine very well. If you don't know about it, please research it and make your own informed decision when getting your child vaccinated. It is good to have done, but has an "optimal window" of effectiveness.

Dr. Lehman is a very arrogant and egotistical man. I do not consider him a good doctor. We will never go back, he doesn't have our children's best interest in mind and doesn't deserve our (or our insurances) money.
Then, months later, our daughter had an appointment that I had called in and scheduled weeks prior. After taking the day off of work and running some errands, I called Dr. Lehman's office to see if I could bring our son to the appointment to be seen too. Our daughter was only going for a well check, and I wanted our son to be seen because he had a potential ear infection. The office staff informed me that our daughter was not on the schedule. After I politely explained that she should be, they told me that they didn't know why the appointment had been taken out of the system and were sorry. The office staff scheduled a double appointment for our daughter and son a few days out.
Our children were patients here for 2 years. During that time our young son had a severe allergic reaction to amoxicillin, and it turned even worse because Dr. Lehman told us he didn't think it was a reaction to the medication and advised us to continue the antibiotic. A few months later Dr. Lehman tried to prescribe our son amoxicillin again without even looking at our son's chart. I politely corrected Dr. Lehman and told him our son was allergic, to which Dr. Lehman rolled his eyes at me and acted like I was a problem. Yes, me, the mom of a son that had looked like Rocky Bolboa (face so swollen he couldn't even open his eyes while taking benadryl) for 4 days at the hands of this doctor's malpractice, treated me like I was a problem.
I went to Dr.Lehman as a child and so did my brother. Now I am 27 years old and I take my infant son there. We are so blessed to have such an amazing doctor and practice located in Seaford, DE. Dr. Lehman always takes the time to answer all of my questions and thouroghly explains everything. He never makes me feel rushed, or like he's in a hurry. He is so good with my son as well. All of the nurses and staff are kind and curteous. They always make sure that my son can be seen the same day if he is sick. Dr. Lehman also has great attention to detail, always asking me about the issues I brought up in the last visit, etc. Dr. Lehman has always treated my family with the utmost respect, kindness and professionalism. I would never take my son anywhere else.
