DR. Doran is a wonderful, patient, down to earthy, we'll educated, sincere, heartfelt, loving, "play no game" and "all about business" Doctor. I broke my ankle and my leg in two places due to an motorcycle accident and DR. Doran had my ankle and leg back in place 4 days later. I remember feeling hopeless and broken when the accident happened, thinking that I had no where to turn was when DR. Doran stepped in and when I realized all my hope wasn't gone just yet. As he talked and explain what was going to take place the more the merrier and confidence I became. "I'm going to fix you and save your ankle and leg" was what I held onto. 8 weeks later I'm walking on my own perfectly and there's no sign of injury. I now know what wonderful is and that wonderful lies in DR. DORAN. I strongly recommend DR. Doran and his staff of excellence and I challenged and urge you as well since being a witness to my recovery.
Dr. Doran saw me early one morning at the Nanticoke hospital ER. I had broken my ankle AND completely dislocated it in a run with a rogue broom on my front porch. He was extremely helpful and even though he was supposed to be at work already he took the time to make sure that my foot was properly set and both myself and my daughter understood what was going on. He clearly explained what would happen when I had surgery a few weeks later and what to expect between my ER visit and then. When the time came for my surgery he spent time explaining what he was going to do and answered all of our questions. In the weeks and months of recovery he was available for any questions I had and I was able to talk directly to him and not hear second hand through a nurse like some other doctors I have had. He is very personable and clearly cares for his patients and their well being. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs a orthopedic surgeon for a issue they are having or if you have a rogue broom attack like me.
Dr. Doran is an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon!!! Not only does he have a great staff but he is personable and attentive to patients needs/concerns. In today's world, it is hard to come by such an experience. I highly recommend Dr. Doran for your Orthopedic needs.
Excellent orthopedic surgeon. Tremendous results on hip replacement for my 87 year old father in law. Up and moving in 48 hours post op. Fantastic recovery. Great Doctor.
